We know a bit about all the things communism has done to the world and what capitalism has done to the world so here I propose first off which is better for the people, then for the country, and then for the world.
I think that there are bad parts to both. I personally am not a fan of communism because I think it leads to laziness. Why work harder when the extra money you make will just be given away? Why work at all when you'll still receive money? The idea of Communism is good and in a perfect world, maybe it would work but given the nature of humans I see many possible flaws. As we have discussed capitalism has some negative aspects too such as people becoming money obsessed, etc. That being said though, I think that capitalism is better and I think that history proves this because practically everyone now is capitalist. Also, communism hasn't worked too well in the past. For a country, capitalism is definitely better because it promotes a business/economy centered view. For a world and for the individual I think that idea of Communism (utopia, everyone equal and happily working) is better however I just don't think it would ever work.
